Hi World, I want to announce it loud that my husband and I have been blessed with a baby girl on 14th May 2021. It was through a C-section delivery and I was half unconscious when I heard my baby’s first cry. The moment I heard her cry for the first time I guessed it in my mind that its a baby girl and I was so curious to ask the doctor whether it is a girl or a boy.
I was finding it difficult to open my eyes and ask my question due to the drowsiness caused by the anaesthesia. I somehow waited for 5 minutes and took the courage to open my eyes somehow. As soon as I opened my eyes, I could see nurses all around me. Then I asked one of them “Kya hua? Ladki ya Ladka?(What happened? Is it a girl or a boy?)”. She gently replied “Aapko baby girl hui hai(You have given birth to a baby girl)”. The moment she told me that I am blessed with a baby girl, I had tears of joy in my eyes and it felt so good. It is the most purest feeling of my life!
Soon back in my mind, I was thinking my husband will also be sharing his tears of joy after hearing the good news and looking at his daughter for the first time. Unfortunately, he wasn’t present in the operation theatre but he was waiting outside with my sister-in-law.
We both really wanted a daughter from the very beginning who we can raise with all the love and care. And, God has listened to our prayers and blessed us with our little angel “SIA”. “SIA” means one who brings joy in life. The famous Cheap Thrills song is sung by Artist “SIA” and it is one of my favourite English pop songs, so I got some inspiration from there too:)
This is the only name me and my husband decided in advance, that if we are blessed with a baby girl, we will keep her name SIA.
Being new parents, we both are learning each day how to take good care of her. Everyday we explore something new about her. It feels really nice when she looks at us and smile. It is a completely different world altogether with a baby but it feels great to be her parents. We really can’t wait to see her grow and call us mamma and daddy!
I really have a tight schedule for now as I have to take care of my baby. So, I will be posting less articles for few months but I promise, I will keep sharing all the beautiful experiences with you all as and when I will get sometime to do it.
